Installed brand new dishwasher, won't start. Checked power, water intake, but nothing happens. Reset breaker, still nothing.

- yes, it is brand new, never been used. Has water, has power, it just will do nothing, no flashing lights, zippo nothing. Have installed 4 other dishwashers in the past and never seen a problem like this one.

- Service technician found the problem. Control panel is defective. Is dishwasher was never used, Sears is replacing the dishwasher at no cost.

May be a wire off motor compacitor. You can't see it from the front. The compacitor is facing the back of the dishwasher. You may have to un-install it to check or use a mirror and flashlight. It's located behind the motor on the left side looking from the front of the machine.
