My I pod stopped working

How old is the battery ipod batteries can only be recharged a certain ammount of times before they need replacing

If an iPod appears not to turn on, check the hold switch on the device.

If this switch is activated while the device is off, it will not power on again until the hold switch is turned off.

If that is determined not to be the problem, the battery's charge should be checked. When the battery is no longer holding a charge, the device will not power on, but will show a battery icon on the screen for a few seconds.
If you see this icon while trying to boot up the iPod, just connect it to the USB cable and allow the battery to charge, which can sometimes take up to 30 minutes before the iPod becomes operable again.

If no battery icon appears when trying to turn on the device, try resetting the iPod.
Once reset, the device should turn on, but if it does not, the battery may need to be drained first (by leaving the iPod disconnected from power for up to 24 hours), and the reset procedure tried again.
hope this helps

BlackBerry PlayBook will not charge or turn on

1.Check the device's battery level for at least two bars of strength.
2.If the battery level is low, charge the battery.
3.If the issue is not resolved, remove the back cover.
4.Remove the battery.
5.Wait 10 seconds.
6.Press and hold the W key.
7.While pressing down the W key, re-insert the battery.
•The device restarts and after approximately 15 seconds, the 'Recovery' screen appears
•Release the power button but *continue holding the home button*, for another 30 seconds.

My ipod wont stay charged

This may not be the answer you are looking for but your I pod might not be fully charged, meaning that you are not plugging it in the computer/docking system long enough.( it takes much longer than 15 minutes to charge the battery. So you might want to plug it in/dock it over night) Or you may be playing a game that uses a lot of MB/GB so it kills the battery. And make sure that you press the play/pause button down for at least five seconds before switching the little switch at the top of your I pod. If you don't press the play/pause button for five seconds and just switch the switch at the top a little lock will appear on the left corner meaning you need to hold the play/pause button down for five seconds then the i pod screen goes black at that time flick the switch at the top off. -hope it helps owner of i pod nano and I pod touch.

Will not charge, Ipod nano says that this accessory is not supported and shows that it wont charge the battery. also the Teac will not turn off the Ipod or turn it on or it just keeps running . Use to work...

Apple does this so that only Certified accessories have to software to make the hardware circuits charge an i pod, thats especially a problem with some sound docks, my i pod 2 gen works with only 1 of the 3 sound docks that i have tried, but i have a bluetooth i home so i play my music wirelessly

I pod wont turn on

It's not a bad battery. There's a loose connection or disconnected wire inside that needs to be re-soldered.

I pod problems

Hi
I think your battery may be going bad or you need to purchase a wall charger to fully charge your battery. Charging your iPod on your computer works fine for a while, but as the battery gets older, it needs more charging and often it doesn't get enough from the computer. Try a wall charger first. Charge it all the way up until it stops charging. If it still shows a low battery you need to have a new battery. There are a lot of places that can do it. Hope that helps.
