thake it apart and pull out the battery on the mainboard /clear bios to reset bios password to no pasword, you can even de-dust it while doing this, just refer to youtube disasembly video - there is one for almost anything, other than that you can maybe do the same by flashing the bios, but i don't know if you can ever read/retreve the actual password, much easier to just remove it then to read it :)

Use Unlock Acer Bios Recovery Service to get your bios password reset with a bios master password they calculate just like Acer Support. These guys are pros at clearing bios passwords and hard drive password on laptops. Reset your bios password for only $20 and they guarantee it to work.
The Acer Aspire One has built-in BIOS recovery which can be used to flash its BIOS. Once the BIOS has been flashed, all BIOS settings are reset to default which gets rid of the BIOS password. This procedure has been posted Aug 2008 on macles for friends of the aspire one to address the BIOS failure that frequented early versions of the Aspire One BIOS. I have used the procedure on my own Acer Aspire One when it bricked in the fall of 2008 and once more in 2009 to install a later BIOS version. Acer also posted Feb 2009 the similar procedure on AcerSupport but has since removed it. Be aware that you must follow the procedure carefully and do so at your own risk. Here is the macles link. http://macles.blogspot.com/2008/08/acer-aspire-one-bios-recovery.html
There is no such thing! If the bios is locked it is because a PW was written to it They come without passwording being set. The only way to remove it is the open the RAM cover and find the two pins and short them out then close the cover and reboot.
The password to by-pass bios password are these, hope they will hope you, once you enter BIOS using these passwords you can reset it to normal Phoenix Backdoor BIOS Passwords:
Unfortunately, if he put a sysetm BIOS password and doesn't remember it, you need to contact Acer's website.
You can have a electronics technician jumper all electrical current to wipe out the BIOS password, but contact acer first to make sure that there is not another method.
