Re: Digital Camera error
Thats the most common trouble in digital cameras, it last for around three years working in good condition. try to locate the backup battery , its a small button like battery. also try another memory card, your card maybe has a virus.

I have the exact same problem. I was able to charge the battery twice, but both times it ran empty after 20-30 min., and now the camera is dead as a brick. Absolutely nothing happens when I try to charge or turn it on. :( Three weeks old Hero 3 Silver.
This is probably THE most common failure among digital cameras. There's a halfway chance of fixing it yourself, described here: http://camerarepair.blogspot.com/2007/12/fixing-lens-error-on-digital-camera.html
This may not be able to be fixed. Sounds like internal trouble. Could be a loose link internally. Could be some problem with the ccd sensor. If the colors change as you are trying to take a picture, then suspect the ccd sensor. If it is the ccd, then Nikon may fix it for free. I suggest you go to the Nikon website for your country, and call the (usually toll free) number for service and information. Take care,
