most models have a screw on each side of the head assemly.. in front or rear..

new models have a clips under each side.. remove the screws or push up on clips.. flip the head back and you will see 2 clips holding the body on.. remove clips and whole body of washer will come off... will probaly be water pump linking.. have only had few with main tub seal leak

Regarding those Cabrio washers that are leaking, while I own the WTW6600 model and have never experienced any leaking, I was told by the service repairman who came out yesterday that there was a flash bulletin sent out by Whirlpool that the fix is in the form of a new inner plastic section. I don't know the technical terms but I saw the bulletin on his computer screen. He mentioned that some people had reported that water was on the left side front of the floor and was being caused by when the water flows through the top section where you pour the liquid detergent, on some models, the water would splash over. He was able to show me the redesigned piece that was being put in to replace those that have the problem. If you are experiencing a problem with water leaking from the unit, and it appears to be in the front, left side area, this could be something covered under that service bulletin.
