my ps3 works for almost every game, but there are some games that go through the begging sequence of the game until it tells you to hit start to begin. then theres nothing, I cant play at all.

i had the same problem with my ps2 all that was wrong with it was the lens needed a good clean the lens may look clean but you get a layer of fine dust which builds up all i did was clean the lens every few days it solved my peoblem so i hope it can help you
