Hello and thank you for using Fixya's services.
First, I would recommend erasing all of your temporary files. This can be done by opening Internet Explorer, click on tools and choose Internet options. Click on the tab labeled, general and delete browsing history and cookies, offline files, temp. pages, etc.
There is a file, more than likely a hijacker txt file in the temporary pages making the system shut down.
After this is complete, reboot and run a full scan to get rid of all mal-ware and/or trojans. Delete all unnecessary toolbars, etc. I recommend kaspersky and you can get the free trial from their website.
* Tip: Never have two anti-viruses on the same machine.
Lastly, upgrade Windows to service pack 2 as I see your computer hasn't automatically downloaded even service pack 1. This is very important and will keep the computer safe from hackers, etc. You can do this by going to start button and type in windows update on the search bar. This will bring up the auto updates and allow you to run a manual upgrade and install.
Please let me know if you have any questions. Glad to help!
