I have a 3rd gen 20Gb ipod and recently it has failed to Sync with ITunes. I ended up restoring it to factory setting which it did ok. It appears as my IPOD on my computer but is now not seen at all by ITunes. All the factory setting are there and it charges fine. Can you suggest what to do please?

Hello,
I am having an issue with my
Ipod.
It gives me an error code when I plug it in saying that it cannot sync
because the files or directory has become corrupt and unreadable, or do not exist.
I
am good at following step-by-step instructions, but have no clue how to
even access this directory so I can *see* if anything is locked.
Any ideas? Thanks!!

My iPod has been on sync lock for about 3wks now and I have tried everything I can possibly think of. I've tried formatting it and even automatically syncing it but the problem persists.
Anyone got any idea?
