Question about Mitsubishi WS-65711 65" Rear Projection Television
Tv will not turn on or off with the remote; will turn off and on from the button on the tv. also no volume control with remote or the buttons on the tv
If it costs $800 to repair this piece of junk MITS DLP , I'm dumping it cheap. Then buy a Sony.

On these models we have found that a switch is sticking on the control panel not allowing the set to turn on. Disconnect the control panel. You will be able to use the remote on it. To find the plugs for the control panel: Remove the speaker grill and front panel, then follow the wire to the connection. Remember to unplug the set before putting your hands inside of it.
