Re: Deleting from my Iriver h10
Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard

Ok , sorry it took me until now to answer , this is a very simple procedure and I promise it will fix your Iriver! All you have to do is go to main menu , scroll down to settings . Then go to additional settings and at the very bottom select " Database Refresh " . This will fully reboot your irvier H10 , and will flush anything harming your mp3 device .
Hope this helped :)
Deleting files? The PC jukebox should work, but if not, use the UMS mode.
Syncing problems. Most likely a PC setup problem. -An incompatible version of WMP10. If your using WMP11 beta, you're screwed. -Windows Updates -Windows Media Format Runtime -DRM Folder(a hidden folder) Control panel>Folders>Show hidden folders. Reinstall the DRM folder. 1. Delete the DRM folder C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersDRM 2. Go to Microsoft http://services.wmdrm.windowsmedia.com/indivSite and click upgrade. DRM will be reinstalled and upgraded.
I've had my player for a long time with no problems. I did have to setup my PC for PlaysForSure *To Go*, but that is not iRiver specific.
i can usually get them off thru windows media (sync tab but then make sure your clicked on the photos tab etc) but sometimes i need to go into it as if it is an external harddrive thru windows explorer
To sync your device use either winamp or Iriver plus (winamp is better) -Download winamp from http://www.winamp.com/player -Iriver plus http://www.iriver.com/support/down_view.asp?idx=860 All firmware releases for your H10 can be found at: http://www.iriver.com/product/p_detail.asp?pidx=61
Just to let everyone know I have the H10 6Gb player and the reason your having problems getting the H10 to work with Vista is because it isn't supported by Vista at all even with updating your firmware...
