Want to use westell 327w as access point only

Yes, you can try to set up your network as follows:

1. Unplug the second (Westell) router from anything and power it on.
2. Reset your second router. Press and hold the Reset button on the router for 10-30 seconds. This will return the router to its factory settings and avoid any complications from the set-up you might have had when the router was being used as a primary router
3. Connect one computer to the router. Do not connect the second router to the first at this time!
4. Configure the second router at http://192.168.1.1/ (Check you manual for details. Usually the username is "admin" and the password is either blank or "password".)
   
5. Change the LAN IP address of the second router from 192.168.1.1 to a free address within your LAN (see what IP range is used by your first router! If it using the same range (192.168.1.xxx) then 192.168.1.2 should be O.K.). The address you change to (192.168.1.2) must not be used by any other device with a static IP address in your network nor should be assigned by the DHCP server your network. A default Linksys router uses 192.168.1.1 itself and the DHCP server assigns 192.168.1.100-149.
6. Turn off the DHCP server on the second router. (This is important, otherwise you end up with IP conflicts!)
   
7. Save your settings.
8. Unplug the computer from the second router.
9. Connect an Ethernet cable from a numbered LAN port of the first router to a numbered LAN port of the second router. Do not use the Internet/WAN port on the second router!
10. Start up the first router if necessary and reboot the second one as well.
    
11. Voila!
