I am trying to renstall drivers and software for my OfficeJet G85xi All-in One Printer connect to my HP Pavillion runing Windows XP.
There is not an unistall option with start>all programs>Hewlett Packard>hp officejet g series.
There is not a remove option that comes up when I select ''hp officejet g series'' in ''Add or Remove Programs''.
When I try to run the new downloaded software to see if it will uninstall the old software I get a message that ''The installer has detected that you have already completed the installation of this software.''
When I try to run Forc_uni.bat from the original CD I get the message ''HP OfficeJet Uninstaller has encountered a problem and needs to close.''
Any ideas on how to resolve this problem?

- I have been to the Ad and Remove Programs in the control panel. But, unlike all the other progams listed the "hp officejet g series" lists no remove option.
