Access local disc C

You may have to remove it from the domain and deleted the object in AD. Then re-add it. You locked out all trusted domain users, and possibly including yourself.
You also try logging in locally and adding the domain account to the Administrators group. You need rights for all this, so you may have to have a domain administrator do this for you.

I dont have an admin account

If you are using the computer, and there's only one user account, this is already the so-called administrator account. Windows Vista has patterned its security from Linux wherein you can not permanently logged on to the Session 0. You may add more administrators on your computer by going to User Accounts (found in Control Panel)

Help needed to become a computer administrator

To get into the administator acount, press f8 repeatedly on startup, until an option screen appears. select safe mode, as this is the only way to get into the admin acount on xp. It may prompt for a password, which is the admin password you typed on setup. From the admin acount, you can go into user accounts, and make your normal acount admin.
Hope this helps,

How do I become administrator on my computer?

Log into the administrator account, then go to control panel > User accounts and set your account to be administrator. Usually the admin account won't have a password unless you set it yourself.

If you are using server 2003, please check it out where the ntds and sysvol files are stored, when installing ADS.

You have two option to view the successfull AD:

  • opening AD users and computer on Administrative tools.
  • viewing Domain option (, when you logon to an account.
if, these process are not available for you. There is no option other than reinstalling ADS using dcpromo.

Well i'm just going to start where i would start. First off, how do your machines on the network get their IP? DHCP?

Is the first listed DNS server the AD server?

Also make sure your using case sensitive domain information when your trying to connect. It is rare but i have had that be my trouble.

I have remote software available and would love to help you fix this hands on if possible. I live for network problems ;)
