Re: not able to install web camera

You click ignore and continue anyway when this message pops up and it will continue to install. All the message means is that microsoft has not tested the driver to work on its system, it doesnt mean its not safe or not going to work.

How do I get print perfect gold to work in windows 7

Windows 7 has compatibility modes.
Windows 7 should read the CD (so let's start there) - is CD damaged/scratch/see-through on any parts? If so you will need another CD. (Or clean download of files from a CD).
IF CD is in good shape - find a WinXP/Vista computer that you can use for about 20 minutes - Copy CD to USB Flash drive (flash drive needs to NTFS format). Verify Files (compare them CD/USB - they should be identical - no other files on the USB drive).
Take USB drive to your Win7 computer - right click Set-up on USB - run in compatibility mode - WinXP or WinVista (either will run Print Perfect Pro).
Follow install - make sure to point to C: for the install and point to the USB drive for where to get data.

My web cam doesnot function well.As i checked its software related to crystal web cam, it is not found in back up so what should i do? i was purchasing this computer/laptop online so no related backup...

What I would suggest you do is find out the model of your camera, and have a look at the manufacturers website for a driver package or installer for your particular operating system.
Usually drivers are small files that let Windows talk to your hardware, but some of the installer programs come with extra features and programs for your hardware that Windows doesn't have.
Hope that helped.

Hi i un installed my web cam sony visual communication camera VGP-VCC2..but i dont know how to reinstall it..plz give me the steps that i should follow

Do you still have the CD that originally came with the camera? Just reinstall the software from it.
I did a quick search on the product you mentioned and found the drivers here. Check first if the product listed there is the correct one.

I am running win 7 & when tried to install xp its showing compatibility problem . pl reply

Remember.... the OS compatibility is only lower to upper...not upper to lower....i.e.....
Win7 is higher than u cant run / install WinXP using Win7...but u can do the otherway round....i.e...1st u can install WinXP in C: drive, then let the machine start, once u get to WinXp dekstop then install Win7 in D: drive...(it's called Dual Boot) on the boot screen u can choose which OS to work with when the PC starts....
all the best
pls revert back...and kindly leave a rating and feedback to this will help me become a "Guru" here on Fixya....

What are the basic drivers i need to install to my computer?

Video, audio, system board (esp. if not in WinXP's release set), about 300 patches from Microsoft Update on those even after the SP3 update, plus anything special you want to use like a particular mouse driver (Logitech, say) or webcam. You'll want some optical drive utilities too, so just install a Nero suite.

WinXP is deprecated by M'soft, so if you're talking about installing an OS you might want to pick Ubuntu or something.
