Sony cybershot pictures fracture when stored on computer

Some years ago i stored some photos on my computer which were fine, but now some of them seem to have deteriorated, they have a "fissure" or break usually in the center of the picture. What can I do? When i try to print them the printer prints them with the fissure! My photos taken with other cameras are fine!

I have plenty of examples... only i am not sure how to send them to you without an email address. My pictures are stored on Picasa 3... sorry for being so non-computer literate!!

So you mean that when the photos were transferred to the computer, they were fine and now after few months the images on computer are corrupt .. Right?
If that is the matter then I feel that its not a problem with the camera .. It should be some (strange) problem with the storage device on which you copied the photos to.
May I look at a sample image please?

How can i fix date and time stamp on sony cybershot DSC W610 camera so that when i print photo it automatically shows date and time in the image

The DSC-W610 will not deface your photos by scrawling a string of numbers across them. However the date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

Deleted photos from my sony cybershot DSC W220

I have had success with this camera recovery software ... Download the program
http://www.asoftech.com/apr/

You have to use a card reader either on your computer or an external USB card reader. Put the card in the card reader, open the recovery program, then select the drive where files are deleted, then press "Start" and wait for it to do it's magic.

Transfering photos from my compuer photo gallery to my camera

Make sure photo files name must be under DSC00001 to DSC99999
connect your camera to computer, click My Computer, Removable Disk, Folder and copy photo files from computer and paste in that folder. If file name is different, camera will not show it in playback though file is in memory stick.
