Kitchen aid dryer / heat flame not staying on after 20 secs
Sounds like your gas valve is fine, if it comes on at all, its good. A air flow restriction would cause a overheat condition and shut down the burner. Once it cools back down the burner would re-ignite and repeat the cycle. The sensor on the left of the burner is the flame sensor and the flame wouldn't come on at all if it was bad. You've already changed the coil kit so the valve is fine, disconnect the vent from the back of the dryer and see if the problem goes away. If the problem stays, I would suspect the thermostat. Good luck.
i have a kenmore stackable model 417.98702891. Unit works fine, heating element comes on but goes out after about a minute or two. Not sure if it's a thermostat or not. Help please!!
