SOURCE: Panasonic SA- AK 133 Music system sorround system not working

this is something a tech expert on electronics can handle. even replacing parts has to be attended by a pro-technician. something is wrong with your DSP processor or system components. it could be the switch only or it could be the processor.

SOURCE: Tascam 22-2 no sound

Yes you need to hook it up to an amplifier and speakers through RCA cable on the back. And or you can use headphones if there is a headphone jack?
Also make sure there is something recorded on the reel tape in the first place. You can do a test recording of something like a CD from your CD player or record something, then play it back, make sure you turn the record input volume knob up and make the RCA connections on the back of the reel unit and connect to your playback source you want to record. When you playback the reel tape, the db meters should be moving on the front of the reel deck, if they move then you most likely have some sound recorded on the reel tape.
If you still can't hear any sound and the db meters are moving, then check all your connections again and volume output knob on the reel deck. Hope this helps?

SOURCE: no sound in karaoke machine

check all the power transistor and resistor in the amplifier section, check also the power supply for correct voltage. if all the components are good next step is check the speaker. leaky capacitor makes your amplifier a popping sound output. i hope this may help you... good luck...

SOURCE: No sound come through external headset or desktop speaker

Sometimes the headphone jack has its own volume control separate from the internal speakers. Check the levels in the volume mixer.

My jvc kd-g820 will not produce any sound and not accept cd

try to find the reset a little indent on the face or hole when you remove the face and push in for 2 to 3 secs with a pen or paper clip. Then try your cd again. Still dont work check to see if you have another cd jammed inside and your trying to put two cds at once.

Ok for your no sound problem. a bad speaker, short speaker (one 1 speaker shorts out all will not work cause the radio is in a protective mode), factory amp needs to be turned on, bose system or amplified system in car needs to be rewired to bypass factory amp), buy special car harness to make factory amp compatible with aftermarket radio, late ford models the back speakers are crisscrossed.

Next time please give car info and type of system you got in it so I could narrow down the possible problems a little bit easier.

No English language on DVD 's

Bought a new unit. The old unit was a surround sound system in which the previous owner removed the speakers. I wasn't aware of the problem but found out that it would not allow it to play on Dolby 5.1...It would only play DVD's on channel 2, therefore no english etc. Thanks for your help!!!

Jvc hx-z1 will not output sound to speakers

if you have old speakers laying around the house try to see what happens, if you connected the good speaker and still has no sound then the internal amp maybe is bad. Make sure it is not muted also.LOL

I have a JVC DVD player that doesnt come with surround sound but i have surround sound speakers is there something I can buy so that I am able to use the speakers

If you have surround speakers with a surround system, then connect the Player to the surround system using for example RCA cables (White and Red).

If you have speakers only, connecting many speakers to a non-surround system won't give you surround.
In surround systems the sound is controlled, elaborated and distributed through the speakers by a circuit.

If you wnt surround sound the alternatives are :

  1. Connecting a surround system (eg.Home theater, receiver) to the player (amp+speakers)
  2. Upgrading the DVD to one with surround.
Let me know if you need more help.

bye.

I just bought a JVC THD50 surround sound system. I want to hook up the system to my television and cable so when I watch cable I can hear the surround sound. I bought a digital optical audio cable and...

See below for the correct setup to get the best clarity sound possible.

From Set top box:
  1. Audio: optical or digital coax cable output --> jvc system Input
  2. Video: hdmi output--> jvc system input
From JVC System:
  1. Video: HDMI output---> TV HDMI input
TV:
  1. only accepting HDMI input from JVC System.
This will provide you will sound from your jvc system at all times. Your JVC system is made to be used as a hub. So essentially what you are trying to do is connect all components into the JVC system. Then only connect the video portion to your TV. The TV itself should NOT be emitting sound.

Note: You may need to turn off the speakers in the TV setup menu to acheive no sound from the TV. This will make for the ultimate experience.
