Question about Sony Handycam DCR-DVD505 DVD Camcorder
Whenever i try to trasfer my video footage to my computer to edit it, my computer recognizes the hardware when it gets plugged in, but then it doesnt show a disc or anything under my computer, and the one that it does show is saying the data is corrupt or isnt compatible with windows.. which i know its not corrupt because it works fine viewing it on the cam.. i also tried viewing it through unlead VS11 (trial version) to open it to view/edit it but still no luck; any suggestions?

Are you running vista?
This camcorder not compatible with vista, download the new driver from Sony

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
