Please try this...
1. Take Menu
2. Select Message
3. select message setting
4. Select Message Center number as SIM Message center or enter it manually by consulting the concerned customer care
Normally this problem happens when the message center number is wrong...
Think about hardware complaints, only trying this........

you need to call the customer service to activate your MMS service. they will send you a service message

you need to activate your ms settings to be able to recieve and send pictures..
call your network service provider and ask for gprs and mms settings for your phone..

A friend of mine had the same problem. The 3.5mm headphone socket was playing up, thinking they were still plugged in. She plugged headphones in and give it a push and a wiggle, then took it out and now it works. Give it a try.
