I have 2 uniden phones. When you push talk on either one it says out of range. I have tried hanging them up in the base. I have also unplugged the batteries and let them sit for a while. After connecting them back up they still say out of range.
this phone does not let me answer or do anything with it. it just say's out of range...
but my other hand set works...how can i get out of out of range... i need both hand set's for my business.
i have removed the batteries.still out of range on all 3 handsets.i have deregistered the 3 handsets per uniden website.told to register them again.tried to but came back as register failed..

Go to Menu then select System Reset, then selct Replacing base, then answer Yes. This will advise you to place in base to register and it will do so in about 5 seconds.

you need to deregister both handsets. press end button (red) and # at the same time for about 5-6 seconds. pick "base unavailable" and then deregister. put back on base until it reregisters. repeat with other handset. JUST A GURL

My phone was brand new out of the box and had the "out of range" error on both handsets. I read thru these suggestions and began by choosing "System Reset" as instructed. This did not work on its own so I tried to "deregister" the handsets. This didn't work either!!!
Out of frustration I took the batteries out of the handsets and once I replaced the batteries and put the handset back in the cradle, everything reset itself and they are all working fine now.
PHEW!!

I called the Uniden support, and although it took awhile, the customer service representative was able to get all three of my phone sets registering again with the base.

My Uniden phones worked ok for about 1 month. Now all three in the set say "Out of Range". Nothing I've tried has worked. Maybe the base unit transceiver is fried.
My phones all say out of range! i have tried deregistering them and reseting them with the main base but they are still not working. I bought the original base with 2 handsets about a year ago and just added another handset recently, before it all stopped working. Very disapointed.
i have 2 handsets that are connected to a computer splitter and have been so for about 18 months and working fine. now i have no dial tone and one handset will say out of range every now and again. I can get a dial tone if i disconnect from the splitter and move it to another location but then my computer doesn't work....HELP.
