Fifa 09 does noy support your graphics card. please consult the readme file for a list of supported graphics cards

Sounds like it might be driver related...try downloading Sony Drivers Update Utility and that should update all your drivers, here is a link to the download:

click on the Asus link below for all motherboard drivers & other utilities for the P5PL2 MB.
The video controller is part of the Intel(R) Chipset software Installation Utility V7.2.2.1006. You'll find this within, Utilities.
(Download & install this utility first after a fresh install of windows).
