Why DELONGHI MULTIFRY FH1394 doesn't start? It produce some click tones only, Display only shows working time, no error nr.

You are here: Home / Models of Hot Air Fryers / Paddle-Type Air Fryers / Delonghi Multifry
Delonghi Multifry Delonghi Multifry
The Delonghi Multifry is a combination countertop convection oven / hot air fryer / self-stirring cooking pot. Essentially, you transform it from countertop convection oven to stir-stirring cooking pot by inserting its paddle.
As of fall 2014, being sold in the UK but not yet in North America.
Main model differences As of fall 2014, there are three models that vary slightly from each other.
Young FH1130 model: Lid is solid with a viewing window, capacity of 1.5 kg, no adjustable temperature.
Classic FH1163 model: Lid is completely transparent, capacity of 1.5 kg, adjustable temperature, additional lower heating element
Extra FH1363: Lid is completely transparent, capacity of 1.7 kg, adjustable temperature, additional lower heating element
Extra Chef FH1394: Lid is completely transparent, capacity of 1.7 kg, no adjustable temperature, additional lower heating element
Specs Heat: Upper heating element in the machine's upper arm. Classic FH1163 and Extra FH1363 models also have additional lower heating element.
Fan: Convection fan (Delonghi calls it their "Surround Heating System.")
Dimensions: varies a bit by model, but approx 400mm (W) x 325mm (D) x 300mm (H)
Capacity: 1.5 kg for Young FH1130 and Classic FH1163 models; 1.7 kg for Extra FH1363 model.
Watts: 1400 (lower heating element on Classic and Extra models is 200 watts)
Temperature: 4 settings on on Classic and Extra models. The "Young" model doesn't have temperature control, you just control cooking time instead.
Timer: Digital. Does not turn machine off upon completion. You can detach the timer and carry it around the house with you.
Runs at 220/240~50/60 in Europe
Warranty: 1 year
Other: Off/On switch at front controls upper heating element. The lower heating element (the Classic and Extra models) has its own on / off button at the front. Many users report that they find the machine very loud when in operation.
Notes
  • No need to preheat before beginning cooking;
  • Users say that for each minute you want to add to the timer, you have to repeatedly press it;
  • Pan has non-stick ceramic coating on it;
  • Lid, paddle and bowl are removable for cleaning and are dishwasher-safe;
  • You can add liquids (for risotto, etc) just respect maximum fill level.
Paddle notes
  • When you switch on the oven with the paddle in, the paddle won't start moving right away, rather, it waits a bit for the food to start cooking before starting stirring [1]. Also the user manual does say, though it's buried: "Please note: To guarantee best results, the paddle begins to turn a few minutes after cooking begins.";
  • Paddle continues moving when lid is lifted.
