You have inadverantly triggered the security system and the red light is flashing 'cos of that. Now if the system is new then you can call the dealer for the code(installation/activation code) to switch off the red signal and reset the settings to default factory settings. The same can be done at the local service station eqqiped with a PC for solving such related problems....sodeep

You failed to mention the year/make/model of the vehicle so, I will assume that there existed some sort of door lock/unlock/alarm disarm bypass module in your vehicle that is no longer functioning. There is no simpler fix then either resetting the module or, remove and replace it.

It sounds like the tech who installed this in your truck doesn't know what he is doing. I have been a tech for 20 years and have done 100's of these trucks for keyless remote starts. The door lock wires are in the drivers door or behind the glove box. There is some time in doing this because you have to build relays and use diodes for them to work, but it is possible to be done.I would find another place to do it and bill the first place that could not do it.

Hi,most times issues like this are use problem. Fues controlls most functions like parking light etc..
There is a box in the engine area that controls those function, Open the bonnet of the car check where those fuse are,there are always name on it and it's usually to box,one on you left and the other on your right..
Before you open the boxes, on it they wrote the descriptions on how to locate each fuse check each fuse and see if they are sillt working properly..
If you can get your way through..you might need help from a specialist with wiring in cars....
