There is no way to transfer HD to a regular DVD with out a conveter that usually plugs in the back of your DVR. Hope this helps =)

Use 2 scart leads from av1 and av2 of the dvd via a spliter .
With the out put from spliter pluged into tv.
(DVR 1600 output is 1/2 of a scart socket and the input is
the other 1/2).
ps:- no auto switching on o/p or i/p!

To get the functionality you're looking for you'll need to to take the cable running from your DVR output and connect it to the input on your DVD recorder. Next you want to connect a cable from your DVD recorder output and connect it to your TV. If this is an HD set up you want to use HD Cables for all of the connections.
