Yes, there is a small internal battery that keeps the time and date going while camera is turned off. If you're interested, I can help you locate it as I have all the schematics as I work in a Kodak service center. My e-mail is email@example.com

I have this camera, except it is Pink.
I looked up the internal battery but I don't think it has it. I think that if your regular batteries get exhausted, it will lose memory.
I use Li Ion Batteries, as recommended by Kodak.
If your batteries are losing charge too fast, switch to the Li Ion type, and also keep a spare so that you can keep the memory by switching batteries quickly, within a few minutes, I believe.
