2012 chrysler 200 electrical new battery new alt. Will not hold charge.

Since the alternator and the battery are both new, there should be no reason the battery is not charging while the vehicle is running. Check the B+ or Output of the alternator. You might offend your mechanic by suggesting this, but it is your vehicle, and electrical things usually equal expensive diagnosis. You can kinda see and feel this area from above, but you really need to be underneath. This is the bolt looking thing on the end opposite to the pulley. This bolt is longer than the area the nut sits AND the nut might be a touch loose. The wires that go on that should have an eye-like end that slides over that bolt and will seat on that location. If this connection was not tightened correctly the alternator can not charge the battery. Make sure there is a flat locking washer and a nut on the end of that bolt. Tighten the nut, but don't go crazy. Firm. Then snap on the insulator cap that is attached to that wiring. Push it until both sides snap. If the insulator is not on correctly, it will come loose. The B+ is a pretty warm place and without that insulator it can melt nearby wiring. Makes a bigger mess if it is overlooked.

My oven displayed F5 then F3 code I believe after a nearby lightning strike, When installing new sensor with supplied wire nuts I found black marks on oven side connector. Immediate F4 error code when...

Hello,

When checking the sensor it shouls be checked at room temp (even if power off) at it should be between 1060-1100 ohms at room tempature. 16 ohms the new sensor is shorted the F2/F3/F4 all relate a faided sensor and the F5 error code says the clock (electronic oven control) is defective.

Test the sensor again at room temp...if only 16ohms its no good and will throw the F4 code everytime again a good sensor measured at room temp should be between 1060-1100 ohms

My siemens rev 16 hydronic will not heat even when the ignition light is on. it clicks on and it sounds like it has started but then stops a few minutes later.

Always look at the bottom of the screen at the 24 hr clock to see what time the thermostat is programmed to come on and off.You can then instantly see if your heater
should be on either T*& temp or TC temp. if the heating is not on when the time clock
indicates that it should check  to see that the time is set correctly.
Also check out the battery voltage. Is it  low or OK.
For Rev 16 manual.Click on the link mentioned below:--

My 04 Ford Focus the battery light keeps coming on & going off, have fitted a new alternator belt but it didn't solve the problem. The battery connections are good. Also the rev counter, speedo & mileage clock keep going haywire when the battery light is on. Do you think it is the alternator? Or is it some other common problem?

Battery keep going dead, has new battery

Have you checked to see if the alternator is charging ? Run a volt meter on the battery with the engine running, have to have more than 14 volts. If 13 or less, then replace the alt.

I need to replace my alternator

You need to first take off youre serptine belt. Inspect that and generally its a good idea to replace. Next there is a electrical connection on the alternator. DISCONNECT the battery FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! then disconnect the connection on the alternator, there are a couple of bolts that attach the alternator to the engine. and then simply bolt on the new one, re-attach the electrical connection and then re-install the (new) belt.

Also,

If you have lost the outside temperature on the clock display after replacing the transmitter battery then do the following:

1. Make sure you have good batteries installed in the remote transmitter
2. Remove the batteries from the main clock and keep them out until the clock display disappers.
3. Re-install the batteries in the clock.
4. Wait until the display returns and includes the outside temperature display as well.
5. Set the clock again for current time/date etc.
6. Bingo. You are in business.
