My TW56F80 didn't have a "protective" screen when I got it more than
five years ago. There has been no damage to the screen over that time.

The owner's manual says to use a damp, soft cloth. That removes any
dust. If you do get some visible grease (handprints, etc) a drop or two
of dishwashing liquid in the water will remove it. Rinse well with a
different damp soft cloth.

I've cleaned the screen only two or three times in five+ years.

How do you clean the screen if it has the protective cover removed?

Also, does anyone know how to remove the protective screen from a Sony
KP57SW40?
