OK this takes a bit of technique and bravery. You need a stiff piece of card such as the backing from an A4 notepad or similar. Turn the printer off and insert the card into the paper feed. You will need to align it with the pick-up roller and push it through quite hard to overcome the spring pressure. It will push out the bits of towel so open the cover and fish them out. Feed the card all the way through and out of the cover. Always try to remove paper jams in the direction of paper feed.

I did something similar in that I used a long steel feeler gage and was able to clear out the problem. Now I have another one. I believe this Epson has the ink jet nozzles in the machine, not the cartridge. I believe I may have damaged the black ink ones in that only a thin black trace in one line shows. The color ones still seem to work. Any ideas? Thanks
