I have a 82 ford f 100 and the front pads won't

Do they have spring clips holding them fast to the caliper. Just pry them off the caliper with a screwdriver. The outer pad that rests against the caliper piston bore also has a clip underneath going into the bore. It is also just pulled out. Maybe a little rust is holding yours tighter than normal? You do have the caliper bolts removed, and the caliper free from the rotor, only held to vehicle by the brake line, right?
Good luck.

Dear Sir, can a gl1000 be re,bored & fitted with

Yes it can be bored, .050 over is fairly common on this bike. Before boring the cylinders, the new pistons should always be matched to the old ones. You always find problems with aftermarket parts. Have the cylinders bored to match the new pistons. Don't bore the cylinders and expect the new pistons to be a perfect match. I hope this helps.

2004 fatboy was bored out to 110 and I don't know why my thunder header is turning yellow

You're probably running lean. You need to have the bike run up on a dynometer with an exhaust gas analyzer to determine what the mixture is and have it changed.

Good Luck

Turn on laptop. within minutes fan is running full bore and bottom is very hot

is this a new laptop? if not it may be that the fan needs a clean and new thermal compound needs to put on the cpu. if it within warranty i would contact compaq. You can do it yourself if you know what your doing but if you don@t then please don't try it as involves know how and if you mess it up you could have a dead laptop @ the end.

87 yz 125t. bored .30'' over need 56.75mm Piston

yea, for most bikes they only come in .020 increments now. if your looking to freshen up the top end, then youll have to go to a 56.00mm piston. there will be almost no change in displacement or jetting from 55 to 56mm. if your replacing the piston, its best to have your cylinder bored anyways. since the worn cylinder walls may have adverse effects on the new piston rings, and they may wear a bit prematurely. a bore only costs about 30-40 bucks most places, and its cheap insurance. plus you will have the peace of mind knowing that your bore is matched specifically for your piston. I would definitely recommend a fresh bore.

your throttle bore is the hole opening at the begining of your intkae manifold, follow the large hoses from your air filter toward the engine, where the hose stops is the throttle bore. It should be about 3-4 inches in diameter, hope this helps, let me know
