How can I turn off the busy signal on my phone?

Check your iPhone settings
  1. Turn airplane mode on and off. Tap Settings > Enable Airplane Mode, wait five seconds, then turn airplane mode off.
  2. Check your Do Not Disturb settings. Tap Settings > Do Not Disturb.
  3. Check for any blocked phone numbers. Tap Settings > Phone > Blocked.
  4. See if Call Forwarding is turned on. Tap Settings > Phone > Call Forwarding.
Update your software
  1. Check for a carrier settings update.
  2. Check for an iOS software update. Some updates might require a Wi-Fi connection.
Remove and reinsert your SIM card If your iPhone has a SIM card, remove the SIM card, then reinsert it. Update your Preferred Roaming List (PRL) The PRL determines the cellular towers that your iPhone uses for cell service and selects those with the best signal strength.
  • If you're on the Verizon network, dial *228 and select option 2.
  • If you're on the Sprint network, dial ##873283#.
Contact your carrier When you contact your carrier, check the following:
  • Your account is set up to use your iPhone.
  • There aren't any localized service outages.
  • Your account doesn't have a billing-related block.
  • Your calls don't have errors on the carrier system.
Check your network settings
  1. Reset your network settings. Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This will erase all current saved settings, including Wi-Fi passwords, preferred networks, and VPN settings.
  2. Try to make or receive calls in another location.
  3. Switch to a different network band. Tap Settings > Cellular and turn off Enable LTE, 4G, or 3G (this option will depend on your carrier and device model).
Still can't make or receive calls? If you still can't make or receive calls, restore your iPhone as new.If restoring doesn't fix the issue, contact Apple Support or take your iPhone to an Apple Retail Store or Authorized Service Provider.

Hello, asking for my daughter, her phone wont receive calls and she cant place calls

First of all make sure the SIM card is active and you have network signals, secondly try to find out if the fone is kept in offline mode or airplane mode.

If you find everything proper, try to insert the sim in another device and make sure the SIM is working correctly

Mine is W595 model , the problem is that my mobile gets cut whenever i talk , its like the mobile when i'm in call receives very less signal and eventually turns out to be no signal at al for some...

Hi,

The strength of your signal depends on your where you are. This is because the service of your network provider is poor in your locality.

Try move to another locality where the signal of your network is strong and you will see the call will not cut.

Unable to send or receive text messages. strange symbol in top left corner of screen....help!

Network provider sometimes caused this problem because of their system mulfunction or upgrade. With that sometimes we can call but texting unable to send or received, but sometimes a signal indicator is full but not connected to the network provider, it means a feak signal. My recomendation is to contact network provider hotline and tell your problem or replace simcard. If yuo totally cannot call and text then positive your fone has a signal problem and need repair on it. Good luck

Cannot dial or receive calls. Sim, signal strenght, and battery are OK.

  1. If you can't dial out, try again. The network may be full. Change locations to get a better signal. If the display says "No SVC" or "No Service," you are in area with no service. Wait until you enter area with service. Check to see if battery is low. If you are outside the service area, contact customer service (try 611 on cell phone). Some service areas require PIN numbers to protect against fraud.
  2. If you can't receive calls, confirm that neither call forwarding nor automatic voice-mail pickup is activated. Make sure ringer volume is turned up. Confirm that ringer is on (not in silent mode). Change locations for better reception. If display says "No SVC" or "No Service," you are in area with no service. Wait until you enter area with service. Call customer service. You may have restrictions on incoming calls.
