SOURCE: won't cool below 80degrees f

It won't cool below 90. It's worse than a fan. The air is not cool and I can't find the manual. I think I did not install it correctly. Do I have to put ice in that tray? Because that tray is empty. Even after using it for 3 days. I recently found this tube with water in it. I released it and still nothing. The air coming out is hot not cool or cold.

SOURCE: Soleus MA-9000AH blows hot air

Sounds like the compressor is not running. This model had lots of problems with over heating. It also will never really blow more than a moderate cooling through it. Since you have cleaned all the filters and is still 100 deg, I believe the failure will be the compressor itself or the capacitor.

If you find an oily residue in the drain or on the pipes, it may have simply leaked the refrigerant out. Good Luck!

SOURCE: FUJITSU SPLIT AIR REMOTE CONTROL PROBLEM

I had a similar problem with only fan air then the blinking lights, found out that mice had got into the circuit board and corroded some connections with their urine. I would try the above solution by turning the power off for ten sec first but remember that you have to leave it for a few minutes before you operate remote.

I have my brand new frigidaire window ac unit set at 60 degrees Fahrenheit, so why does it only cool and keep the room at 65 to 68 degrees Fahrenheit?

if you have it set at 60 F and it is working at 65 to 68 F then that would be about right
as the air is cooled the cold air falls to the floor and out under the door, open window or anywhere else it can escape
the unit has to be at 80% room height so if it is set in a window then when the cold air gets up to the thermostat or ac level in the window then it will stop cooling
So if the ac unit is say 4ft from the floor and the ceiling height is 8 ft then the ac will only cool the bottom 4 ft
cold air does not rise but falls down
if you are using a ceiling fan then the cold air is stirred up and the 65F sounds about right
remember that the setting temp ( what you set it at) is the lowest temp that it will go down to before it stops cooling and if that is not reached it will keep working to attain that temp and if the room is too big, air leaks under door . around the fit in the window , no insulated walls , hot exterior wall, etc then maybe 65 F is the best you will get

I have a frigidaire pro FPHS2386L and the freezer is too cold. Any ideas?

George makes a good point but I'd like to add that there is generally a fan that blows the air between the freezer into the fridge area. If there is no obstruction, the fan most likely needs to be replaced. On a few models this can be done with a little patience and a screw driver and the fan part. Check with a Sears Parts distribution store avaiable around the country for the part if the model is carried by Sears. If not, Google the fridge make and model number with Freezer Fan Replacement.

My frigidaire Air Conditioner model Lra074at7 is not blowing cool air. Its very hot in the room I have it in. Not sure what to do??

Hello friend, thank you for your inquiry!

I understand that your Frigidaire air conditioner is not blowing cool air. There could be many possibilities to why your appliance is not cooling properly.

· Check to make sure the air vent is not in the open position.

· Make sure there is nothing blocking the airflow of the appliance.

· If your appliance is turned on in a hot room it could take additional time to remove "stored heat" from walls, ceilings, floors, and furniture.
Is your appliance under warranty? If so, you might want to reach out directly to the manufacturer to determine the coverage on your air conditioner and the procedures to any potential remedy. I hope this is helpful. -Matt

Do you have it pulling air from the outside of the house, or do you have it circulating air from the inside of the room only?

Typical temp split should be 15 to 20 degrees. A 75 degree return air temp should be in the 50s. Be sure coils are clean , if in that range the machine can do no more. If it is not, you likely have a refrigerant issue.

Freezer works, frig doesn't

there is a fan on many newer units that blows cold air from the freezer side to the frig. If that fan is not working, the frig will be cool, but not 34° like you want it.
