Question about Nintendo DSi Black Console

1 Answer

What should I do? I entered my Nintendo DSi USB with the memory card on it, but nothing happened in my laptop, no USB folder appears. Then I tried to enter the USB, and then I put the memory card after it, and the folder appears. Then I want to put my downloads there, but it saids "the folder is empty" and I can't save the downloads.

This happened to me. You need an up to date computer with at least windows 7 for this to work. And I don't know if this has to be a computer or not? Shouldn't think so

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: when i insert my R4i for DSi card, it start to say

You're not going to find manual support for a flash card like the R4.
Your best bet is to just reformat the SD card and start over again.
There's a great tutorial to set it up on http://www.dscardworld.com with pictures and links to all the official software on their support page.

If you suspect that you have unstable fake clone version you can get a genuine card there too. I managed to find this site after I got burned at a few others. Loved having my emails responded to because I had loads of questions, and they were quick to ship it.

Best of luck!

How to scan memory card?

Try connecting your phone to the computer via usb cable if your phone is capable of that and click your phone icon once it appear on the computer and left click on your phone and look for scan on the menu. Then your phone will be scanned. The other way is by taking off your memory card out in your phone and inserting it to a laptop and scanning it manually. Usually a micro sd are the memory cards thats being used on phones so you should have an adaptor for you to be able to insert it into your laptops SD card slot.Hope this helped you in anyway..have a nice day.!!!!

I read that changing the date to 28.09.2009 should work, as this happened to me today too... and it worked. Very weird, but try it anyway :)

My daughter connected her DSi to the Nintendo DSi Shop and now her R4i-SDCH card no longer works. The DSi can still read the R4i-SDCH card on the menu but once you click it it reads.... ''An error has...

That doesn't work,
Basically the DSI update has blocked the R4 slot card, nothing you can do now!
No matter what firmware you place onto the card the blocking device is built into the DSI memory, I've tried formatting/changing dates/other slot cards. no good.
Afraid to say the DSI is no longer compatable with the slot cards except for the authentic cards.

I can not get my games off my memory card to play on the new R4i card I bought for my DSi. What do I need to do?

You just have to put the memory card with your games in your computer, copy them to a temporary folder, then put your new memory card in and move them to the new memory card. Or if they are both R4s, you should be able to just put the memory card in the new unit.

When i go to play on my r4dsi it just comes up loading and nothing else but when i plug it into cmputer(the game with memory stick) it says there is nothing on folder

You may have to format you sd card, sometimes for no reason the sd card will do that, it maybe that the card is to full, because saving the games as not left the card with any space left, the best thing to do is when you put games onto your card also put a folder on your pc with the same games and the firmware for your card, so it will cover you incase that happens again, my advice is, re format your card, than put the firmware back on then the games you want, and if you use a 4gb sd card dont put anymore than 3.6 worth of games on the card, that will leave you plenty of room for the save files.

R4DSi

First check for your firmware version, look in the settings, the version number is shown there on the top screen, right at the bottom, because the latest firmware version blocks the R4DSi.
Latest Firmware Made by Nintendo for the NDSi is v1.4

If you still using firwmware 1.3, download the latest kernel for that flash adaptor.
Connect the memory card with a card reader to your computer, backup all .nds files to your computer and format the memory card.
Unpack the latest kernel to the memory card afterwards and put the .nds files back to the card, these files are the games.

Succes.

1st thing I would do is reformat your SD card then I would copy the r4i system back to the card and load 1 game on and test.
