Make sure you have line of sight or are at least on same level,if you have diminished signal it could be electrical noise. You can then purchase a unit like a range extender ,simply configure it and plug it in a room where you need a stronger signal.this usually works, you can generally find these cheap on Ebay.

I turn my heater on, it is set on auto, but it never turn off, it's a new thermostat.

If the setting was at 80 degrees and it didn't turn off, that's because the room didn't reach 80 degrees yet. Keep track of the room temperature as well as if it turns off when set for a lower temperature.

My subwoofer doesn't seem loud enough. I have it set to 80%. Is there other settings that might solve this problem?

Bas response is highly dependent on room boundaries, speaker placement and relative listening position.

room. Otherwise, keep it at least one
meter away from the TV."

You might experiment with moving the sub around.

I have a williams forsaire furnace that won't heat a room properly. The main burner will light and shut off as the thermostat tells it to but the blower won't blow any heat unless the thermostat is set...

There is probably another thermostat buried in the furnace for safety purposes which could be faulty - it is very unlikely there won't be safety devices built into the furnace and no reason to assume those devices would be any more reliable than a room thermostat for instance.

You really need a service manual for your furnace.

The digitel display show room temperature in the 70's when room is very cold, thus it does not turn on when you want it to

The temp you are looking at is a error code. 72..76 is the code for room sensor. 76..80 Room sensor shorted.

Set at 75 but stays at 80 and won't cool down until night time.

Sounds like you're low on refrigerant. You might try to measure the room temperature and the temperature coming out of the grill. The temperature coming out of the grill should be about 20° lower than the room temperature. For instance if the room temperature is 80°, then the temperature coming out of the griil should be about 60°.

Housesitting. RTH111B model. I cannot keep the

That is a NONprogramable T-stat. There is no program to overide, therefore there is no need for a "hold" option. To set the temp, place the switch on the side marked

COOL
OFF
HEAT

to the desired setting, and push the up down arrows on the front until the display shows 80.

The DISPLAY will revert back to the current room temperature within a few seconds, and will keep the unit on until it reaches the desired temp.

The set temperature remains at 80, it just shows the current room temp.

Honeywell Thermostat RTH7400D

The thermostat will not cut off the A/C until the thermometer reading gets to 76.

If there is not a heat source near/behind the thermostat which is causing the thermometer to read higher than actual room temperature, it sounds like the thermostat thermometer is out of calibration.

There are ways to calibrate it, but much to involved to go into here.

One solution is to just set the thermostat at 80, knowing that it's really set on 76.

Another solution is to replace the thermostat.

Improper Termperature Readings during AC run

personally i'd just replace the thermostat, but try pulling the front panel off and look on the circuit board and see if there is a jumper for F/C or any other settings. you may try changing its position. you can also remove the batteries for 15 minutes and see if it resets itself. the only other thing it could be is a wiring issue.
