Phone wont charge

I bought a car charger and used it to charge my phone one time. Every since then my phone will not charge wether I try the home or car charger. The only way Ican charge it Is to use a desk charger where I take the battery out to charge it.

If the cig adapter you purchased was an aftermarket brand you may have screwed up your charging port. I repair ALOT of motorola phones that this has happened to. I would pull your battery for a few minutes and try your home charger, but if that does not work it will have to be sent to a Moto service center.

My phone wont turn on or charge even tho i charged it all night

It sounds like you need to replace your battery. But first, if you're using a home charger, try charging the phone with a car charger (or vice versa). If the problem is not with your charger, then replace your battery.

When you get your new battery:
1) Make sure you are using the proper charger for your phone (not one of the cheep $5 kind), and
2) charge your battery for at least 12 hours before you use it for the first time.

My blackberry 2 storm wont turn on

These type of problems are hard to diagnose. But first start with power. If using the home charger, try the car charger. If both do not work, check the battery to see if it's seated correctly. Are you using an OEM "original equipment manufacturer" charger. If you use a charger bought from a 7-11 then you may have burnt out part of your phone. Use a friends battery that has a phone like yours. If that works and it's out of warranty, buy a charger and charge batteries on a chrger, then insert them into phone each time. Got insurance on phone?

My battery wont charge on my motorola rival i bought a new battery and it still wont charge.

Hello,

If your phone does not seem to charge. It is as a result of either the charger or the charging port.

To test if it is the charger;

Try to use a tested okay charger on your phone.
Try your charger on another phone to see if it would charge the phone.

If it does not work,then it is the charger.

All you have to do is to replace the charger.

Test if it is the charging port;

Try to use a tested okay charger on your phone,
If it does not charge the phone,

Then it is the charging port that has a fault.

To fix the charging port;
  1. get the appropriate screwdriver,
  2. remove the back cover, the battery and the sim,
  3. Then you will remove the stickers, you will find some screws at the angles of the phone, unscrew them,
  4. Run an object like a credit card around the line across the phone and apply a little force to separate the stainless part of the phone,
  5. You will have access to the panel of the phone,
  6. Try to locate the charging port of the phone,
  7. Disconnect it and replace it with the new you got for it,
  8. Reverse the process to reassemble the phone.
Take care

3 Home chargers wont work on Motorola SLVR L7, but the car charger does?!

Only thing I can think is if your house has wall A/C units they are notorious for blowing up the transformers in the AC adapters.

Have you checked them with a multimeter to verify that there is voltage coming thru them?

Best of Luck.
