Does ExtentNet 100x support Zebra printer language ZPL2?

It doesn't support it directly, but it shouldn't prevent it from working. However it might be sending extraneous PJL commands between print jobs (example @PJL -12345X) which could mess up a label. ZPL is basically ASCII, the ExtendNet shouldn't prevent ASCII delivery.

Have you tried reinstalling the driver?

I think this sounds more like a driver or compatibility issue, I would say uninstall the printer then reinstall it, If you are not comfortable doing it we can help,

We can remote login and help you if need be. Just let us know

How to change the serial number in hp laserjet 3055n after replace the foprmatter board.

I dont have the answer; however the closest I could find in teh 3055 service guide was the following statement:
"Printer job language (PJL) software commands Many PJL scripts are available for restoring parameters such as paper size and page counts after the formatter has been replaced. For comprehensive instructions, see the Printer Job Language Technical Manual and the Printer Job Language Technical Manual Addendum"
I do not have those two manuals but it would seem that is the direction you need to head in order to solve this issue. Many of the HP laserjet's have an easier method than using PJL commands, however this model does not provide such ease of use.
Good luck!

OKIDATA 490 printers started printing the following and there were no changes made to any software/network/hardware. The emulation is and has always been Epson LQ - ''12345X@PJL @PJL INFO PAGECOUNT...

We had this same problem and discovered that some vendor installed a program called "Print Track" which discovered every printer on the network using port 9100 and sent a query for how many pages were printed. Removing this software from the offending PC resolved this issue. We used the "job log" from one of the Okidata printers to find the IP address of the PC that was causing this.

The printer is printing an addition page each time a page is sent

Are you using a custom written language application or are you using an application such as Word?

It appears that you are using a PJL wrapper around the print job. Please create a print to file (off of the driver screen) and send it to me at janddgasrepair@verizon.net. I'll be able to look at the job and see what ie happening.

Right now I suspect that you are not clearing out the PJL properly.

How to change the density of the printer HP LaserJet 5p

I'm afraid this won't be of much help to the original poster, who asked the question a year ago, but anyway - others may be looking for this too, just like I did...

To change the print density, a simple command must be sent to the printer. This is done in two steps:
  1. Create a file, containing the command
  2. Send it to the printer ("copy" it to the printer, in a DOS shell)
The command is:
<ESC>%-12345X@PJL DEFAULT DENSITY=4
where <ESC> represents the "Escape" character (character code 27). There are several ways to generate the Escape character (which cannot be directly entered in a text editor): E.g. substitute the character with any other, save the command and then replace the first character with 0x1b using a hex editor.

Or:
  • Open a DOS window
  • Enter:
    copy con density.txt <Enter>
  • Hold the <Alt> key
  • type 27 on the numeric keypad
  • Release the <Alt> key - the Esc. char. is shown as ^[
  • Type the rest of the command (e.g. %-12345X@PJL DEFAULT DENSITY=4) - adjust the density value to the one you actually want to set.
  • press <Enter> <ctrl-Z> <Enter> to write the file
When you have successfully created the command file, send it to the printer. In the DOS window, enter:
copy density.txt LPT1
(assuming that your printer is connected to LPT1)

That's it!
To verify that the density has actually been set, print a printer status page.
The printer remembers this setting, so this needs to be done only once.

HP LaserJet 3330 prints a configuration page after each print job

If you scroll through the menu functions to service, you can restore factory defaults. If you use the fax function you'll need to run the AiO assistant again. It may take care of it. I didn't see anything on the config page or the menu structure page that would indicate an option to require a print report after each document.
