A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: I need help
This sounds like one of those situations where the radios will need to be serviced at a local kenwood dealer or depending on the value of the radios you might want to junk them. The average radio repair runs $75.00 to $90.00 just for the labor. The other option if so inclinded to do so would be too order the service manual for this radio and attempt to complete the repair yourself. I don't know your skill level at electronics. I wish I could help you more.

SOURCE: Need owners manual
Hello there, I think your best bet would be to contact kenwood customer support/distribution Fax (310) 537-8235 for your manual, or they will advise what path in their division to take l'm sure,
good luck --John.
