I'm trying to figure out what version bootloader I have on my razor phone and when I hold down * and #, I get to the bootloader screen but no bootloader information. Just says "Bootloader USB INIT" - there should be a version # there right?

  • Anonymous Feb 04, 2008

I was just texting and my phone kept cycling on and off and I couldn't do anything, then I plug it in because I think it just has low battery and is trying to stay on. I plug it in to my charger, and a blue screen with the M and at the bottom it says BOOTLOADER USB INIT, the only button that makes it respond is the red power button. All it does though is make it say: POWER KEY RESET... where the previous message was, then it restarts and goes to the colorful HELLOMOTO screen, then back to the blue screen with BOOTLOADER USB INIT. What should I do?

  • blackhouse83 Feb 17, 2008

The stupid phone hasn't been working right for about 2 weeks. It hasn't kept a signal long enough for me to make a call or even text and it randomly shuts off. Now all I get is the cool yet devistating BOOTLOADER USB INIT screen.

Frist I have had two phones do this to me. All you have to do is get on to Motorazr or hacktherazr or any other hacking site for the Razr and download the software for installing the firmware to your phone... On on I installed the Altell software even though Im on Verizon and the antenna settings are much better and less dead spots... On my own phone Razr V3c I installed the original firmware incase I trade it in for an upgrade... The Programs you will need is Driver tools for the Razr and USB drivers for the Razr and PST phone programmer also last PST tools... You can get all these programs for free on you can go to concepts online and purchase them for about 10 bucks if you dont want to look around...Either way there is an answer for that blue screen phone your calling a brick...

hold the end key(power) and it should restart back to normal. If it goes back into bootloader then your phones software could be corrupt or could have a wrong value in somewhere. What provider is this?
