Hi Lindy,
What is it you're trying to change on the display? The Background? Resolution? Icon size?

Need more info....
Thanks,

The display only about 5"

Hi there,

Try changing the screen resolution your display screen might be having trouble supporting the resolution you are currently using. If this does not work try updating the video driver for your computer.

To change the screen resolution:

Win XP:

Right click on the desktop -> Choose PROPERTIES -> Click the SETTINGS tab and change the resolution click apply and then ok

Win Vista:

Right click Desktop -> Choose Personalize -> Change the screen resolution click apply and ok

Win 7:

Right click the Desktop -> Choose Screen Resolution -> change it and click apply and ok

If the above steps does not work try going to the sony vaio support site and download the updated driver for your Video Display.

Hope this helps!

Display rolling

Make sure there aren't flourecent device near the monitor. If there is, move it away from the monitor. If that doesn't fix the problem check your display settings and change the hertz. Right click on your desktop and choose properties go to display look for screen refresh rate change it to one of the other options and see what happens. If none of these options work look into getting a new monitor.

I want to change the image size and font size on my screen. When I push the menu button, I can't click on to any of the choices. Bill Kelly

Hi,
You can not change the font and resolution through the monitor. For that Please Right click on desktop, Go to properties and click on. A separate window appears called Display Properties. There you can see the Themes, Desktop, Screen Saver, Appearance and Settings. To change the Desktop background click on Desktop and change the background. To change the font, click on Appearance and change some settings there. To change the image or to broaden the images click on Settings and change screen resolution. Thats it. After changing any of the settings you need to you need to click Apply which is present in the bottom right corner of the display settings. Then click ok.

Thank you.....
