Which is the correct way to fit diaphrams on stilh 450 carburators

Chainsaw carbs have two working sides, the pump side and the metering side, the pump side will have a diaphram and a gasket, the diaphram will have two small non return flap valves on it , it must fit against the carb body followed by the gasket, on the metering side the diaphram has a metal disc and a gasket, on this side the gasket goes against the carb body followed by the diaphram ( the gasket is used as a spacer )

Grundfos jetpaq pumps

Sounds like a broken connection or a link in the over temp circuit.
Or the controll is knackered.
I would say it is unlikley the motor has failed, I have stripped water related dead seized grundfoss units and freed them back up and they have outlasted an economy replacement unit.
I am assuming your unit is single phase, if it is there should be an internal OL reset.
I am not sure where exactly on your unit but if you open the control box it should be evident.
If it has tripped I would check the capacitor as over time they diminish in capacity which would lead to overloading or not start at all which would trip the OL very quickly.

Choke seems to be on... runs very rough....

There are several ways to do it
a. Check carburetor if not clean pump it on the intake if that not solve try to clean it. with Lacquer thinner to dissolve the dirt.
b. Check spark plug if some are not working. In checking try to pull one by one the high tension wire and listen if the sound vary if the sound remain when pulling one wire mean you have problem with your spark plug. So replace all spark plug with the same spec.
c. or lost compression on cylinder.
d Check if you fuel filter if some dirt and replace it.
e. Clean your air filter with compressor or replace it
f. Check the clearance to the Contact Point it must have 1 mm or .8 mm spacing when not at firing mode ( just like the thin of the hacksaw blade the space of the gap of the contact point.)

Won't start. possible diaphram problem?

Chainsaw carbs are all position pump carbs, and do have diaphrams, there will be a pump diaphram, and a metering diaphram, the pump diaphram pulsates via either a hole through the cylinder and induction block, or a pipe from the crankcase, the negative and a positive pressure produced as the piston rises and falls is fed into the carb, this diaphram shoud be flat show no signs of blistering or cracks, under this diaphram is the main inlet screen, this should be clean, any doubt and it should be replaced, the metering diaphram controls the amount of fuel allowed into the metering chamber, it should also lay flat and be supple, the metal disc in the middle should be flat and not distorted, both of these components are very robust and only need replacing if they are damaged, worn or have become stiff due to fuel attacking the material.

Water run over top of tub

What has happened is your water diaphram has gone bad. If you look at your control board you will see your water select switch. This is the water diaphram. Remove the two side plastic covers from the control board. Remove the two screws underneath the plastic covers. Flip control board over. Make sure the diaphram hose is still connected before you order a new one. If the hose is connected at the diaphram than the diaphram is bad. To replace the diaphram, Unplug washer, remove hose, plug, and twist to remove. I hope I helped you.

Well its not really the fuel tap that im looking to change but the diaphragm need changing so can someone explain to step by step to changing the the diaphragm?? and do i need a special silicon or oil to...

Hi Im not 100% certain what the hyosung diaphram looks like, but most are held in with 4 small screws holding the plate where the vac line goes. There will be a spring and plunger activated off the centre of the diaphram. This should come with the new diaphram.
You will need to remove the fuel tap first, or have the tank upside down on something soft.
You are only dealing with a few screws and a couple of parts, so just go slow and remember how it came apart.

a thin smear of rubber grease my help fit the new diaphram, do not use silicon, it can stop the diaphram moving and is not petrol proof

4wheel drive will not engage

There are three main things that could cause this. #1: in the passenger side kick panel is a module that controls the 4x4 and it should be clicking as you try to put it in 4x4.#2:There is a vacume activator switch on the transfer case located on the top on the drivers side.(If the module is clicking and trying to put it in 4x4 then I would just go to this activator switch).#3 If you replace the switch and it still dosn't go in to 4x4 there is a vacum diaphram under the battery tray that pulls the front end into 4x4.Check and make sure that there is vacum getting to the diaphram which is controled by the activator on the transfer case.If no vacume at the activator or diaphram check all the vacume hoses going into and out of the activator. If no vacume while vehicle is running suspect bad vacume line. You will need to remove the battery to test the diaphram under the battery tray. You will need to hook up some kind of battery to the cables with the battery out of the car to get it started in order to check for vacume at the diaphram.

I need a blue print on how a sloan urinal flush valve works and how the water flowes through it. if posable exactly how it works.

SLOAN FLUSH VALVES ARE SIMPLE. IT DEPENDES ON THE PROBLEM. IF THE VALVE KEPS RUNNING AFTER IT IS FLUSHED THE RUBBER DIAPHRAM IS DIRTY OR OLD AND THE RUBBER DIAPHRAM IS GETTING HARD. AND STICKING. THE VALVE WORKS ON A VACUME TO CLOSE THE DIAPHRAM TO STOP THE FLUSH PROCESS. WHEN YOU PULL ON THE FLUSH HANDLE YOU BREAK THE VACUME THAT FORM ON THE TOP OF THE DIAPHRAM WHICH ALLOWS THE WATER TO FLOW AS THE WATER FLOWS IT IS ALSO STARTING TO PULL A VACUME IN THE TOP OF THE DIAPHRAM TO CLOSE THE DIAPHRAM AND STOP THE FLUSH.
AS THE DIAPHRAM GET OLD AND WORN IT GETS HARD AND DOES NOT MOVE AS FREELY AND STICKS OPEN AND WON'T LET THE VACUME CLOSE THE DIAPHRAM AND THE URINAL WILL CONTINUE TO FLUSH. HOPE THIS ANSWERED YOU QUESTION
