I have a John Wood powervented gas water heater, model 322152-001(13-05). The temp pressure relief valve is leaking. How do I operate/reset the valve manually?


There is a leaver YOU CAN PULL up but this may not stop the valve passing it may wash any dirt of the seating ,It may be best to change the valve .

Igniter on gas water heater only sparks once


First pull the ignitor wire off the ignition module...hold a screwdriver 1/8 to 1/4 inch away from the electrode pin on the module then turn the unit on to see if it sparks differently than what you described before you replace the ignitor.
