Getting wet computer keyboard got wet, now the mouse is glitching and very hard to navigate, it's almost unusable. What do I do?

Let the keyboard dry. If wetness was due to water you might be ok. If coffee, you could be lucky if circuitry not damaged.

First let the keyboard dry. Whether the wetness was due to water or coffee or...If water, you might get it working once dry. With coffee etc, it might be difficult as it may have damaged the circuitry. But try.

Logon to the computer, Press the windows logo key on your keyboard and use the arrow key to navigate to control panel, go to device manager use a combination of the tab key and the arrow key to navigate to the mouse and pointing device and enable the mouse.

generally you can use the Page UP/Down, Tab and arrow keys to navigate BIOS. My Latitude E6500 even supports using the mouse to navigate BIOS

How do i sync the mouse and the keyboard with the computer?


Normal 0 Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it. This should connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly. If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the button on the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch. Hope this helps you. Bud

Every kind of mouse won't work!


Normal 0 Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it to Reset/Connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly.
If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch.
