Question about Waring DF200 Deep Fryer
Does anyone know where I can find a source for a power cord for the Waring DF200 Pro Deep Fryer?
I have the same problem and found a DF200C model for Canada. It's a 1500W vs. an 1800W for the DF200. Does anyone know if the DF200C cord would fit the DF200? It may be that they used the same cord for the Canadian model given that the volume was probably small.

This design is very poorly done.. The magnetic plug will start arcing and the contact points become burned etc.. I can understand why Waring quit making this cord..This absolves them from any liability.. I will try to hardwire the unit as safe as possible.. This will of course be my last purchase of any Waring product..Apparently they DON'T stand behind their quality and products..

I have the same model, the df200 and it may not be your cord. When I took mine apart, I found that the cord had been arcing with one of the prongs. That made the plactic holder for the prong get hot and melt just a fraction of an inch. Just out of reach of the cord. So now the cord makes contact on one side and not the other. I repaired it with epoxy. I considered hard wiring it but would not suggest that if you have small children or are prone to accidents. Or if your kitchen is at all "Cluttered".

I have contacted Waring today and they state that the power cord is no longer available or manufactured. What a way to make you buy a new deep fryer. I love my DF200 and there is nothing wrong with it., just cant find a cord myself.
