Unfortunately, you have a bad Timing Control Board (T-Con board) You will need to replace this or replace the TV at the store you purchased. This T-con board is not available at this time. Purchasing a replacement board is not a good thing to do. As this board will also have a defect. Find an authorized servicer of Haier to repair the actual board! This is good advice. Thanks for asking me. Sincerely, Matt of Martins TV.

SOURCE: Vizio makes loud static noise, picture goes fuzzy.

You should check your home wiring and grounding. Also be aware of anything that has recently been turned on when this happens. Anyone using a microvwave, cell phone, or other appliance that might be causing the interference.

Power comes on but no picture or sound

Make a hard reset to this set and try. Unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it after 15 minutes or so. This will make the TV to a hard reset.

LG 42 LCD no sound or picture

Did anyone find out the solution for this??????? I have the exact same problem with my LG 32 LCD. I only had it for a year and a half, and the green light blinks a few times and it shows no picture. Not even a red light when the tv is off. The same thing happened a couple weeks ago and by some miracle it started working again.

Viewsonic LCD TV - Picture/Sound goes out after 1st power up

Hi visceran,
I am happy to help, unfortunatly your main/input board is malfunctioning, it is a problem with the processor. I had a 32' Viewsonic on my bench last week with the same symptoms.
If the tv is new you should contact Customer Service asap, also check on the return policy of the store you bought it from. Many times it is alot easier to return to the merchant than to ship to repair facility.
Let me know how it goes and if you need further assistance.
Please rate this solution. Lone99star
