Hi,
I couldn't get any software utility or firmware updater/repair from the Kingston site, however, I have tried the HP Drive Key Boot Utility and it works even for Kingston and JetFlash. The bad side is it completely erases the contents of the USB drive.
Should you want to venture and try it, it is available for download at http://h18000.www1.hp.com/support/files/...
file name is cp006049.exe
Hope this be of some help/idea. Post back how things are or should you need further information.

I got the solution in http://www.everythingusb.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=9488
If you have ever loaded Daemon Tools (it appears the newer versions are the problem) and your USB Mass Storage Drives will not show up in Explorer then your problem is a file called sptd.sys. It resides in either "system32" or "system32\drivers". You can simply rename it or delete it. Restart and Wahlah!!
I renamed sptd.sys in c\windows\system32\sptd.sys to sptdxxx.sys and it worked fine, but to open Daemon Tools I must revert any time.
