MY MONITOR's color/scheme suddenly got inverted (white is black, etc.) like solarized.

how can i correct this. i have tried changing the settings of the display, but i did not succeed.

my screen is very dark and i can't lighten it up where i can see it

My toshiba laptop has the solarised effect too. I've tried everything and nothing works, I only just bought it!

When I log into my ACER Aspire 5100 the screen is pink and the monitor looks like the crystals are spread across the screen. I tried to correct this in the display panel, but nothing works. Any suggestions?

reboot safe mode and see if all looks ok,
then make changes ot display as you prefer it to be.
check vga cable
check windows desktop theme
