Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I have recorded footage for a fashion show at high quality for a client. When i attempt to edit the footage on imovie on my mac the footage comes out very jittery. The footage is fine when played back...

Hard to say without seeing it and more details of the video coding of the files you recorded but I think you shot it interlaced and you are trying to edit/view progressive, or the field dominance is wrong.

Have a look here, this should sort it either way

I hope I have been of help but please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
I appreciate your vote if you appreciate my reply.

What is compatible mode How it will be converted to Full version

Compatibility mode helps users collaborate with those using previous versions of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. A file created in previous versions of Office, such as .doc, .xls, and .ppt, are fully functional in compatibility mode in the 2007 Office system. Compatibility mode ensures that the 2007 Office system can open and save files in from previous versions of Office without converting them to the new file formats in the 2007 Office system.
Just select "save-as" and save the file in 2007 format.....And when you will open the newly saved file...It won't show "Compatibility mode".

Have a nice day :)

Lens cap error no picture when trying to view. Will play back previous footage just fine.

This is usually caused by a defective CCD image sensor and can be repaired fairly inexpensively. However, it's not a user serviceable problem and will need to be repaired qualified service technician.

My name is Rick and I'm a professional repair technician with over 20 years in the business and have repaired many of these. I'm semi retired and work from home with little overhead so I can keep repair costs low. If you decide to have the camera repaired, please click HERE for a directory listing that suits your needs.

if you are sure that is from this program ...just uninstall the program ...and check all cases during that regards removing previous data and settings...after uninstall go to program files (Cdrive) and remove the folder that contain the old program ....reboot and reinstall the program ....this should eliminate all left-overs..
also if the program has any built folders in my documents remove them after uninstall...
if that item still around after reinstall ....go to a folder....whatever ...and from tools /folder options..view...choose to show hidden files...
after that try to remove it if you can see it ..if do not want to be removed...look over google and locate a freeware program named remove on boot ...I believe that is a russian developed one ...this will make ya able to choose the file into the program ...and on next boot it will get rid of it ...

Displays file error message when trying to playback still images and video footage

Did you take the card and insert into computer/device to view photos?

Viewing photos can alter the format of the photos thereby preventing your camera from reading them.

I viewed some photos and rotated a few photos and my camera no longer recognizes the format.

good luck

HVX200 shot footage - viewing footage on consumer grade camera

You can only view hd footage on hd devices. so if you recorded hd footage onto a tape, you will not be able to view it on a standard def camera, ie the dvx100b. The footage should not be harmed. Now if you are trying to view via p2 card over the firewire, whole new scenario.

My Windows Explorer does not show extentions

By default, file extensions for known file types are hidden in Windows XP. However, you can change this setting so that file extensions are shown for files in a certain folder or for all files on your hard disk.
To show file extensions, first open any folder on your hard drive, such as "My Computer" or "My Documents." Then select "Folder Options..." from the Tools menu as shown below.
545a526.gif When the Folder Options window opens, click the View tab. This will show the file and folder view settings.
95b32b0.gif One of the options under Advanced settings is "Hide extensions for known file types." If this option is checked, uncheck the checkbox and click Apply or OK. This setting is system wide, so unchecking this box will make file extensions appear in all folders.
If you decide to hide file extensions at a later time, you can check the box again and click OK to revert back to the previous settings.

Time code problem -- footage disappearing

Menu setting - the time code is simply resetting itself.  If you intend to edit your footage with NLE software this will be a problem, otherwise no issue.
