Question about Microsoft Computers & Internet
It depends on what operating system your using and how capable you are using DOS (command), in addition load my computer and where it says my computer in the address bar just type, http://www.google.com and search firefox or chrome.
right the dos way try this,
in run (or search) type command or cmd,
when it loads type c: \
this will take you to c:
then type this
ftp ftp.mozilla.org (you will be asked to login)
(user name anonymous and password as password)
when switched to binary mode type
get "Firefox Setup 25.0.exe"
then after download is complete, (there is no bar and dos appears to be crashed but it's not just wait and then you'll get confirmation that the download is successful) type
if for any reason it says connection timed out or failed, just type quit and start again (sometimes you have a few minutes as an anonymous user, so be quick) (ps your not hacking)
ok now goto mycomputer and select your hd (c:\) the firefox setup 25.0.exe file is now there, double click and install, congrats you now have firefox installed.
try it out and see if it works, if it doesn't get back to me.
ps type everything as is CASE SENSATIVE, ie Firefox not firefox!!
If FTP in dos(command) wont allow connections then you have an internet problem
All the best
