Pair Siemens dimmer 300w sockets

You need THREE-WAY SWITCHES to be able to use them in tandem. SPDT (Single Pole Double Throw) switches.

You cannot install two ONE-WAY switches (SPST - Single Pole Single Throw) to switch from two loacations.

You CAN, however, use ONE Three-way dimmer on one end of the room, and one Three-way 'regular' switch on the other, if dimming from just one place is adequate for you

Why after installing a Pass and Seymour lighted single pole toggle switch, the CFLs in my bedroom light flicker on and off.

Is the switch wired wrong?
Does the switch have 4 wires?
Look at wiring for single-pole timer and see it it applies to your switch

Electric switch install

Open following link for single-pole and 3-way installations:
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-wire-GE-15312-timer.html

If you have two hot wires inside the same box, that is unusual unless the power source is 240volt.
However it is possible that box has two hot wires and each controls a different light.

I have two black wires in box attached to regular light switch & want to know if I can install a Skylark S-603PG single pole dimmer switch which has one black , one red&white, red and green wires

This is single-pole -or- 3-way dimmer
Manual shows on following link:
http://www.lutron.com/TechnicalDocumentLibrary/0301107A.pdf

1) Manual says: The red/white wire is not used in a single-pole application. Twist a wire
nut over this wire for a single-pole application.
2) Green wire connects to bare ground wire. Or bare ground to bare ground.
3) Connect dimmer-red and dimmer-black to either insulated wire that came off of old switch

Also take advantage of fixya phone service.
For a price, fixya expert speaks with you over phone while you work on dimmer or any do-it-yourself project.

How do you wire a Two Single Pole Switch for each switch to run seperate lights all off of one circuit. Example: Recess Lights on one switch and a Track light on the other switch. 6 black wires, 6 white...

so 6 grounds is connected together, and conneted to mains ground (direct connection), the white wires is (mains Neutral) and you connect all 6 white wires together (to doble pole safety switch) in one end pole switch, and you connect a wire from another pole the same end at common Two Single Pole Switch and connect (Black wires recess lights) to one free pole switch and (Black wires track lights) to another free pole.

The mains connect to safety switch live (Black or Brown) to another free safety switch pole, Neutral (White or blue) to free safety switch pole and earth to ground wires on mains connector.

Note: Allways use a mains 300mA diferencial safety switch, for better protection.

How to wire a 2-pole switch?

You should have 3 connections on the switch, double pole, single throw. The brass colored connections are hot and the silver is neutral. You should have a diagram that came with the switch. The switch should also be marked if you look close enough. If you are still not sure , I would go to the nearest hardware store with the switch, and look for the same one in the box and at the diagram. Hope this helped you out.
Good Luck,

PS 2-Hot to Hot terminals, and 1-silver, and ground, green.
