Im not an expert but have a vizio as well. For me the usb never showed up until going into menu settings and resetting it all. The good thing about vizio products (I don't work for them, just have had to call) is the support line 1 (877) 698-4946, they actually answer and can work it out. Hope that helps!
Not knowing what capture card you have, I can only guess that you are using the componet video input to the capture card and the composite video out of the Xbox. If you are using HDMI, it could be a bad HDMI cable. This link: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-360/console/connect-xbox-360-console-tv
Your TV needs to have an HDMI or USB plug to be able to do this. Most TV's made since 2008 have an HDMI slot. I'll attach images of both an HDMI and USB plug to show what they look like. Plug the HDMI or USB plug into the slot in the TV and the mini plug into the docking station, then dock your phone. You will need to change the input on your TV to display your phone on the TV.

Unfortunately, if you are limited to just composite cables (the red, white, and yellow ones), you will need to unplug another device like an unused game system or DVD player.
If you have a little cash, there are dozens of switch boxes/selector boxes (they go by a few names) available at local retailers and online. They usually offer 3 slots and up for products at a reasonable price.
If you feel particularly crafty, you could always build one. Instructions for those are also available all over the web.
Finally, if you have an empty HDMI slot in the back of your TV and prefer to use it, you can buy a composite to HDMI converter. However, this is the most costly option.
Connect one end of the game console's audio/visual cable into
the corresponding slot on the console if you have an older game
console. If you have a newer console, insert one end of an HDMI cable
into your console's "HDMI OUT" port.
Plug the red and white ends of the audio/visual cable into
the corresponding red and white audio inputs located on the back of your
Vizio plasma TV if you have an older game console. Plug the yellow
cable into the yellow "Video In" input. Depending on which model of
Vizio TV you have, the yellow input may be located either right next to
the audio inputs or it could be located a few ports away.
Plug an HDMI cable into one of your TV's "HDMI IN" ports, if you have a newer console.
Turn on your video game console and your Vizio plasma TV.
Press the "TV/VIDEO" button on your remote to cycle through the various
inputs. You should eventually get to an input that's displaying your
video game console's home screen.
You plug the home theater system into the television's hdmi in slot. However you want to plug the blu ray player into the HOME theater system's hdmi in slot not the television's.
Then you can take another hdmi cable and connect the hdmi out from the television into another hdmi in on the home theater if you have enough room.
the only thing i can think of is that you havent flicked the switch on the hdmi cables wher the plug into the xbox from tv to hdmi, if you have the go ahead and get it replaced
There are PS3-components cables available out there (the Red/Green/Blue one) you can use to connect your PS3 to your TV and still get HDTV on your TV system. You should be able to get it where you bought your Playstation. Got one for 39.99$ CAN
