in the settings or properties of the keyboard you will find a list of keyboard lay outs
one is british(english) which puts the letters in different positions to an American ( english ) keyboard
If I remember rightly , the list includes keyboards in different languages
select the one suitable for your language ( be careful between the british and american layouts ( both known as qwerty boards) as certain keys and key functions will be different
select what you want, apply and ok
An "Indian English Keyboard" may not be sufficiently different
from an American or British English one for it to show up as an
option. As I understand it, only the pronunciation of spoken Indian
English is different.
From the menu, tap the icon that looks like a toolbox, then the wrench icon, then the lips icon. Then change all available options to american or british english.
All you would need to do is download a spellcheck software and install it. By installing this software it will change all the default dictionary languages to english, at which point it will allow you to start using spellcheck in english.

3.Once that is complete, restart your computer.
4.Now test it out and you should have your spellcheck back up and running
People in the US speak "American English" and people in the UK and what used to be the British Empire simply speak "English" though it's sometimes called "The Queen's English"
The satnav should automatically know where you are when it picks up the satellites. Before going ensure that you have the text language set to American English as if it's in British English you won't be able to enter a state in the address. To change the text language;
The problem may be because the text language is British English. To be able to enter a state it must be in American English. To change to American English follow the instructions below;
touch wrench icon lower right screen. touch settings. scroll down with arrow button to language. touch american english ( or British English if you like) Then hit OK. Good to go!
